Barbara Haddock Taylor / Baltimore Sun Video | I will be the first to say I was wrong. I have been somewhat critical about what I perceived as slow response and self-preservation from our national support groups. Today I saw the "old school" support that I was used to from NDSC. Susan Goodman was not afraid to call it like she sees it in front of the cameras! Her words today reminded me of what I thought we had lost. Kudos to you Susan! I for one hope you will continue to press for that independent investigation since he does not seem to be convinced yet. |
A family lost their shining light. Mother, father, sister, brother, all who were extremely devoted to him. We've gotta stop this kind of tragedy from happening. We hope that the governor will really get serious about all people with disabilities in Maryland, show his concern, and ask for, appoint an independent investigator that will get ALL the facts. What REALLY happened, not an internal, white-washed report about, that reads the way the Sheriff's department wants it to read.
