I answered the call - and it worked! Local news reporter Whitney Kent (WVLT) came to interview me today.
I was a little nervous about sending the requests to local news stations for day 1 of "Justice for Ethan." OK, that's an understatement. A few hours later when I got a message from one of them, I was scared to death!
But, I kept thinking -
This is for Ethan.
This is for Josh.
This is for everybody who has Ds.
Thanks again to Littlebirdsdad (although 5 minutes before the interview I was really thinking "WHAT has he gotten me into?!!?) for organizing this great schedule of events and making it so easy for the rest of us to do something positive.

And if you get a chance - please email Whitney and say Thanks! for doing the story.
As a side note- you'll notice that Josh had his full "Michael Jackson" regalia on. On the way home from the interview he said:
"You know - I was born to be a star. And you Mom, you can be my assistant."
Kinda says it all doesn't it?
